There is a short video called, “Did You Know?” at this link http://www.metacafe.com/watch/2041910/2008_latest_edition_did_you_know_3_0_from_meeting_in_rome_th/It’s instructive to parents, teachers, and authors. The video shows how fast technology and information are moving. I think it makes an excellent case for why education in America, reading, and books for boys are critically important.

That is scary! How did America lose ground so fast? Too much fast food and fun, and not enough studies and planning ahead? I have actually heard parents say reading isn't that important!
