Thanks for your comment on my Suite101.com article. I have a "reluctant" reader. It took me years of doing all the things in my article plus more. But now I call him a reader, even if he doesn't think he is. He often carries books in his backpack, falls asleep reading and carries books with him if he's in the car or anticipates waiting (restaurant, doctor's office, shopping, etc.).
