A true story to download and read to your children this Christmas.
It never fails. Each Christmas, kids can hardly wait until it's time to open presents. Well, this story is something I'd encourage families to read around the tree this year, before the wrapping paper is ripped off of the packages at your house. It's a true story that happened when I was around seven or eight years old. The story is published at this link: http://www.christianfictiononlinemagazine.com/middle_anderson.html

What a sweet picture. Both of my brothers are gone, and this brought all kinds of wonderful memories to mind. Thanks, Max!
Thank you Linda. Those are our kids when they were much, much younger. Today they're 33 and 30.
What an awesome story, Max.
You know, years ago, most kids didn't receive that many gifts. Time with family, and God, were more important.
God bless you.
That's a wonderful story, Max, and a good lesson for adults as well as children to learn. Thank you for sharing and hope you and your family have a wonderful Christmas filled with many more good memories!
You're right, Deborah. It really is different today than back then.
Thank you Connie, and I wish the same for your family this Christmas.
Max, this story confirms my faith in how things work for those of us who follow our faith. Thank you for this special Christmas gift.
Thank you Anne. Glad you enjoyed it.
